The Technology Stack

Raven's Eye deploys military-grade encrypted communications, TAKOS/ATAK situational awareness, and Trellisware mesh networking — extending operational radius far beyond conventional drone operations.

Security

Encrypted Communications

Every link in the chain is secured. From drone to EUD to command center, all data flows through AES-256 encrypted channels — no interception, no compromise.

AES-256 Encryption
End-to-end encryption on all video, audio, and data links between drone, EUDs, and command
Anti-Jam Frequency Hopping
Trellisware radios employ spread-spectrum frequency hopping to defeat jamming and interception
Zero-Trust Architecture
Every node authenticates before joining the mesh — no unauthorized devices can access the network
Covert RF Profile
Low-probability-of-intercept (LPI) waveforms minimize the radio frequency signature of operations

Mesh Networking

Trellisware Mesh Networking

Self-forming. Self-healing. No infrastructure required.

Trellisware TW-750 TSM radios create an autonomous mesh network the moment they power on. Each node — whether on a drone, a ground operator, or a vehicle — automatically discovers peers, establishes encrypted links, and routes data around failures. The network heals itself if a node goes down or moves out of range.

  • Self-forming mesh — no pre-configuration or infrastructure needed
  • Self-healing routing — automatically reroutes around failed or jammed nodes
  • Airborne relay — drone-mounted radios extend network range by kilometers
  • GPS-denied operation — mesh maintains connectivity without GPS
  • ATAK/CoT integration — all nodes share blue force tracking and sensor data
  • Simultaneous voice, video, and data on a single encrypted link
Command & Control

TAKOS & ATAK Integration

One picture. Every operator. Total awareness.

TAKOS (Team Awareness Kit Operating System) and ATAK (Android Team Awareness Kit) provide the command-and-control backbone for every Raven's Eye deployment. Drone feeds, EUD positions, sensor overlays, and mission data converge on a single tactical display — giving every operator from the drone pilot to the incident commander the same real-time picture.

ATAK SITUATIONAL AWARENESS

Blue Force Tracking

Real-time positions of all friendly units overlaid on the tactical map — drone, ground teams, and command all visible simultaneously.

Live Drone Feed Overlay

Thermal and visible drone video streams directly into the ATAK display, georeferenced to the map for instant target location.

Cursor-on-Target (CoT)

Standardized CoT data sharing enables interoperability with any CoT-compatible system — military, law enforcement, or emergency management.

Mission Planning & Tasking

Waypoint tasking, search grid planning, and route deconfliction built directly into the ATAK interface — plan and execute from the same screen.

Sensor Data Fusion

Thermal detections, radar contacts, and EUD reports fused into a single common operating picture with timestamps and confidence ratings.

Offline Capability

Full ATAK functionality without internet connectivity — maps, tracks, and mission data persist in GPS-denied and comms-degraded environments.

Range

Extended Operational Radius

Trellisware mesh networking combined with Starlink backhaul removes the traditional range ceiling on drone operations.

0–5 KM
Direct Link

Standard drone-to-controller direct video and telemetry link. Full HD thermal feed, lowest latency.

5–15 KM
Mesh Extended

Trellisware airborne relay node extends the operational network. Ground teams maintain ATAK connectivity throughout.

15–50 KM
Multi-Hop Mesh

Daisy-chained Trellisware nodes across vehicles and fixed positions extend the mesh to regional scale.

Global
Starlink Backhaul

Starlink terminal provides global IP connectivity — command centers anywhere in the world receive live feeds and CoT data.
